UK 2012 Red Hat Convention

FESTIVAL IN THE FOREST

GREAT NEWS, LADIES.

To date we have filled 38 of our 50 lodges at Center Parcs meaning that almost 200 ladies will be enjoying this experience!

Because of this success Center Parcs are giving us an extension to their deadline of another two months.

If you would like to join us for this wonderful weekend but could not manage the deposit before Christmas you now have another chance.

We have a few spaces in lodges with very friendly ladies so please don't be afraid to come on your own or in smaller groups.

We now have until the 15th of March so I look forward to hearing from you.

If you are new or have not kept the details do contact me, Dorry Squirrell, on bardwellbattybees@live.co.uk or ring 01359 254036

I look forward to hearing from you.

Brighton Rocks

The Brighton Belles Hosted the 8th UK Convention of Red Hatters

7th – 9th October 2011

We give a vote of thanks to Helen and her team of Brighton Belles for hosting a most enjoyable convention.  Everything seemed to run smoothly although there was probably a lot of furious activity unseen by the revellers.

Friday 7th October

Line Dancing  (Fancy Dress Western Theme) Red & Purple of course, was great fun.  A super opportunity to dress up and be silly.

Saturday 8th October

Parade from The Grand Hotel for a tour of The Royal Pavilion - enough to blow your mind especially the music room.

Glitz & Glamour Gala evening with entertainment and dancing with “Elvis” who was great and just as suspicious as advertised or should that be delicious!

Sunday 9th October

Pyjama Party Breakfast and Handover - some whacky outfits here but not much time to admire them before the formal handover.

UK Convention 2010

Friday 8th , to Sunday 10th, October

organised by RED HAT REBELS, Bideford.
CRIMSON & PURPLE TIDE OVERWHELM NORTH DEVON!

Hi Red Hatters just a few lines to tell you my thoughts on the convention.

I have never had such a good time as I did at the convention, and this was not down to me or my team, it was you the red hat gang that make these conventions so special.  The atmosphere was wonderful; all together having fun - it was just magic.  It makes all the hard work and stress just melt away.

You all made this weekend a priority in your lives to travel long distances, to be together having fun, meeting new and old friends.  You made such an effort to wear your bling and colours and you looked amazing. Bideford has never seen anything like it.  You certainly stirred up this little town.

I am so proud to be able to call myself a member of the red hat society because of the people and their attitude to life. I sincerely hope there will be many more conventions for us all to have a ball.

Valerie Steele, Queen Ann.

Europe 2010

FIRST EUROPEAN

RED HAT FUNVENTION

EURO DISNEY

1st to 3rd OCTOBER 2010

Sue Denny put together a great Funvention in Paris in October with ladies from USA, Australia, Belgium and the UK attending.

Some of us went to see the Lido show, Le Lido de Paris is without a doubt one of the most famous cabarets in the world, which is positioned on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world, and it is most recognised for the gorgeous Bluebell Girls.  The evening  started with a meal at 7.30pm, then we enjoyed an exceptional evening at the Lido and got completely absorbed in the review that has the famous Bluebell Girls, we saw breathtaking scenes, a real ice rink, 23 sets and 600 sumptuous costumes and Le Lido is now even more spectacular than ever before.

The rest of the weekend went wonderfully. Saturday night saw some chapters doing a turn of poetry, tap dancing, singing and allsorts...so many talented ladies.

Excellent food and company was had all weekend........
