| Dear Red Hat Queens and ladies of the UK, MY name is Heidi and i live in California, U.S.A about 3 hrs. north of San Francisco. I have been a Red Hatter for about 12 years, my Chapter Name is Konocti Kuties #632. The reason I'm writing to you is this, my Husband and some friends are planning a trip to London in May of this year and want to go the Chelsea Flower Show on the 24th and would appreciate any helpful information on how to get around in London from our Ship. Our Ship The Azumara Journey will dock in London 23rd of May and we will be there until the 25th.We are looking forward to seeing London and all of the great places. Congratulations to Queen Bez and the Swaffham Sparklers who had their very first meeting on Thurs 9th Feb. The weather was terrible but still 18 of us turned up and what a lovely friendly gathering we were. I will certainly be joining the Sparklers. They sound real fun and are arranging some brilliant trips out. An official statement from Clarence House to the Press states that six members of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) will be doing the flowers in the Abbey with the Florist who holds the Royal Warrant. Hi Pam...all is going well in our quest for world domination ! The Northallerton chapter had a huge turnout for its first meet and greet last week and will meet at Lewis and Cooper ,Northallerton on the last Thursday of each month 2-4pm a name etc will be decided next meeting....Beth (UK Ambassador) x ps Scarborough next ! The Dolly Mixtures - Castle Douglas I have got my chapter up and running and have 9 members so far, this morning we had an informal coffee at my house and have arranged to have our first outing for lunch in a local pub, The Laurie Arms, at the Haugh of Urr at 1pm,on the 1st March I mention this because you said it would be good to have some publicity and to let you know. Hi Everyone Thanks for a lovely time in Paris and it was so much fun because of you all. The meeting is due to take place at 11am on Saturday 21st August in the Basement Cafe of the Ashmolean Museum, Beaumont Street in the centre of Oxford. The tables at the far end of the cafe are reserved just for our use. This meeting is primarily a social, where we have the chance to meet, make friends, drink tea or coffee, have a snack or a lunch, and get to know each other. I will address the meeting on future plans for visits and outings/events, for which your suggestions are welcome.
